Welcome to Greengage Counselling

Calm, confidential, professional therapy

Thank you for visiting Greengage Counselling. My name is Shelley, and I am a fully qualified BACP-registered therapist providing both short and long-term therapy for adults.

About Me

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), providing reassurance that my work is guided by high standards of ethics, training, and professional practice.

I offer therapy for adults experiencing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, panic attacks and depression. I have a particular interest in relationship issues, including early relationships and experience of trauma that impacts on adulthood. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or wanting to better understand what’s going on for you, therapy can help bring the change you are looking for, it can bring clarity, insight, and a greater understanding. I provide a calm, confidential and non-judgemental environment, where you can talk openly and at your own pace. I work predominantly in a person centred way, placing great importance on building a trusting therapeutic relationship based on genuine empathy, respect and acceptance.

Counselling can help you recognise unhelpful patterns or better understand the impact of difficult experiences such as loss, relationship difficulties, abuse, or trauma to name a few, and to support you to explore these safely and help you find ways forward that feel right for you.
